Support Paul Booker

Paul Booker or "Booker" is and was recognized as the tall friendly guy who played guitar so brilliantly, and has hair from the Gods. He played in a countless number of bands with some of the best musicians in Nashville for 30 plus years. His latest project, of which Paul is most proud, is him leading his band Paul Booker and the Dynamite Operators. Their last album will be available within weeks, so look out for that.
Our friend Paul Booker came down with a serious illness, stage four lung cancer. He passed away peacefully this past Sunday at his home with his girlfriend. You can say lung cancer beat him because he is no longer with us, but if you know Paul at all, lung cancer did not beat him. He lived his last days the way he wanted to. He was not laid up in a hospital bed, he had home hospice, so he was hanging out with his closest friends, family, and his beloved girlfriend, listening to music, exchanging stories, and laughing that Paul Booker laugh that everyone knows so well. He loved all of his friends with all of his heart. Paul loved and lived music, music, music, people, people, people! So, we are asking for some monetary support for funeral and medical expenses. He will truly be missed by so many wonderful friends and family. Show love with donations or stories about the Paul we all know so well.
Paul will be laid to rest on July 6th at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home, visitation 12:00-2:00, funeral at 2:00. Close friends and family only. There will be a Memorial Tribute for all, date not yet announced.
