Study abroad in Austria
I was a junior in high school when I found out college kids could move to foreign countries to take classes. It sounded like the coolest thing ever, and I still think it's pretty awesome.
Last month, I was accepted into a program that would allow me to take international marketing classes in Austria this summer.
From July 1-21, I'll be spending nine hours a day studying Business-to-Business Marketing, Sales Management, Intercultural Management and German at the University of Applied Sciences in Steyr, Austria. I'll also have the opportunity to visit BMW Motors Company, MAN Trucks Company; Hallstatt, Austria; Salzburg, Austria; and Koper, Slovenia as part of the program.

Studying abroad would allow me to immerse myself in a subject I love, travel, gain hands-on experience, network and interact with other cultures. This is a truly amazing opportunity, and I can't think of a better way to spend my summer.
The only thing? Studying abroad is a little on the expensive side. That's where you come in. I'm reaching out to my friends and family to help fund this trip. If you want to help make this crazy dream of mine come true, this site is set up to accept donations that will go straight to helping me pay for this trip.
The cost of the program is $3,138, which includes tuition, fees, housing, company visits, trips that are part of the program and some meals.
Additionally, I am responsible for my airfare, airport transportation, other meals and personal spending money. I've also applied for scholarships and grants through UNT Study Abroad and the University to help cover the cost of the program.
I know times are tough, but any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
