Former US Army Sgt needs our help..
*** please note campaign is in canadian dollars*** My name is Matthew McCoy and I live in Owen Sound ontario but as all of you know I spent the majority of my life in florida. I have been honoured to call Christopher Earl Quinton one of my best friends since I was 13 years old. The happiest times of my childhood was when we all started a backyard wrestling organization called E.B.A it kept us all out of trouble after it fell apart a few of us stranded into a bit of trouble or just floated about.. Not ole Earl... He enlisted because it was the right thing to do.. then 9-11 happened promptly after and they sent the kid to the desert.. for 15 months he defended your freedoms.. whether you are Canadian or American he fought for north American cause why split the hairs.. Now he needs our help. His house was hit in heart of Irma, Marco Island Florida. He sent his wife Kristina and two sons C.J. and baby Maxel to safety while he stayed behind boarded his little home up and said a prayer then checked into his hotel room at the Marriott and waited.. why did he stay? Because he works for the water plant and he needed to stay behind so that once the storm had passed he could get out there and get the people of Marco Island their water back up and running. There are many people in Marco and surrounding areas who need as much help as they can get. Yes Chris and his family have insurance however the deductibles are quite high. I know lots of you have good hearts but small pockets plus me I fall into this category as well so if you can't give any thing atleast give it a share. Cause you may have someone on your friends list looking to help someone who was directly impacted in these storms. Give his Facebook page a look watch the videos from his hotel room during the storm.. then the devestation to his home. It's heart breaking. Anything we raise will only be able to be cashed by Chris himself as every certified check will be made to him and sent registair Canada post mail. Anything we raise that is above what will be needed by the Quintons will be passed on to members of the community of Marco Island that truly need help rebuilding their lives.
