Hi, our names are Samantha, Betti and Barbi. Our mother Synthia has recently recieved awful news that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Our initial results were breast cancer, something we were hopeful to be cured quickly. After a PET scan and exstensive biospsy's we have found that the cancer has moved to other areas of the body. Something that will be a continuess fight for the rest of her life. This has been very sudden information to our whole family. Synthia has awlays been the rock of our family, invincible in our eyes, and such a compassionate kind woman to everyone she comes across. It pains us to see our mother have to go through this, but we know how strong of a woman she is and we have faith that she will make it through this.
Just a bit about Synthia. She grew up in the small town of Gustine Texas where she married our dad Lyndon Droke. They have 3 beautiful daughters, 3 son in laws, and 4 beautiful granddaughters and a puppy, Max. Synthia has worked all of her life to support her family. She has such a heart and compansion for anyone. She has helped take care of hospice for many years, devoting her time to helping the elderly and their families get through difficult times. She has worked with the special needs children in middle grade, and has always fostered children who need a home or a meal. She is known as "Momma Droke" to many kids from Texas all the way to Los Angeles. She is a lover, a friend, a confidant, and a hard working, go getting fighter. In our eyes she is super woman.
Since we got this news we have hit the ground running trying to fight this thing. It's hard enough to hear the word "cancer", but then to ask yourself, "How will I pay for all of this?", is another stress added. This is why we are asking you for your help. Our mother nor father have never been ones to ask for anything. But at this time we want nothing more than for her to recover from this without the burden of stacked up medical bills. It would mean the world to us if you could support her in this long journey.
