North American Orienteering Champs

Todd and Isabella Park from the Venice High School Raider Orienteering team have qualified for the NAOC (North American Orienteering Championship) in Hanover, New Hampshire, September 23rd thru the 25th 2016. As the 2015-16 season came to an end, Todd and Isabella were given the title as Florida’s Orienteers of the Year, taking 1st place in both Varsity and Junior Varsity out of nearly1,000 JROTC cadets competing for this honor. They have both flourished in the sport consisting of military land navigation/wilderness racing, which is known as “The Sport for the Thinking Runner”. Please help Venice High and their fellow MCJROTC team send them to attend the NAOC to further improve their skills and also to be given a chance to increase their national standing with OUSA (Orienteering USA). This is a fantastic  opportunity for both Todd and Isabella. Not only can they bring home bragging rights for Venice High School and their MCJROTC team but our local community as well, not to mention the scholarship possibilities. Please help us support their trip and honor them for their dedication and accomplishments.
