Rainbow Club for kids with Autism

Donation protected
I'm a mum to two daughters with Autism and will be fundraising for the rainbow club.
The Rainbow Club in Mahon caters for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them develop their social skills and enjoy a range of activities founded by Karen and John O’Mahony, who have two boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) of their own. The club depends on fundraising & donations alone to keep it going & is run by trained Volunteers. The money raised will go towards running the club & be spent on equipment for indoor and outdoor play, vital in aiding the development of co-ordination skills for ASD children

For children with ASD, it’s often the social aspects of their lives that cause the most stress;
uncertainty and an environment full of fast-paced changes where they are expected to gauge and respond appropriately to the demands and emotions of other children can be bewildering to a child with autism, leading to the notorious “meltdowns”, which can look like temper tantrums but are actually a response to extreme stress caused by their inability to react “correctly” to their environment
