Disabled veteran homeless

I am a disabled veteran who fell on hard times. I recently went through a divorce and I am about to lose my house. I am 3 months behind and the housing American homes for rent won't work with me. Due to my credit I can't find an apartment or house to rent. I have contacted the VA, Red Cross and many other organizations. I have had little help in this matter. I am being evicted 29 Aug 2016. I make enough money but due to divorce and fighting for custody of my 2 year old son I have fallen behind. I did 16 years in the army active duty with 5 deployments. I was injured in Afghanistan in 2013 and medically retired from the army. I have no family except my uncle who lives with means my son. I hate asking for help but I am without many options at this point. If you can't give, I ask that you share this please. Thank you and God bless!!
