SURGE Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
The Singles United Representing God EVERYWHERE, (SURGE), is an organization that was created by Chad and Mara Winchell back in 2012. The organization was created to inspire, encourage, and strengthen our fellow brothers and sisters around the world.
The trip for 2016 will join disciples from all over Latin America at the "Conferencia De Las Americas" in Lima Peru from October 20, through 23, 2016. I have the amazing opportunity to join my fellow disciples from October 20, through October 31, 2016. The missions will begin at Lima Peru then travel to Santa Cruz, Bolivia; Medellin, Columbia; and Asunción, Paraguay.
“Why Santa Cruz, Bolivia?” you might ask? A few years back, I attended one our HOPE worldwide charity meetings in Dallas, Texas. During this meeting, I was fortunate enough to hear about the Bolivia church and what amazing things God is doing there. Unfortunately, I did not have the job security nor support to serve, but, glory be to God how things have changed!
Ever since I attended that meeting, it has weighed on my heart to go and serve. Thankfully a fellow sister posted about SURGE. I have searched my heart and prayed many prayers regarding this trip, and have made a decision to join the Bolivia team to go on a short-term mission trip with SURGE. I am excited about the opportunity God is giving me to share the love of Jesus to three different churches simultaneously.
I am raising money for this inspiring mission to be a witness across the world and encourage my fellow brother and sisters. The total cost of the trip to include flight and room and board will be a little under $2,150.00. My urgent need right now is to purchase my plane ticket by mid-August as prices are not guaranteed. This will be my first mission trip and I am very excited for this opportunity to serve. I have created a GoFundMe account for those of you who will support my cause.
