God Bless Brian and his Family!

Thank you for visiting Brian's "go fund me" page.  My brother-in-law Brian was recently diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.  The week that Brian & Gail's two beautiful daughters were graduating ... Emilye graduating High School and Elise graduating 8th Grade ... Brian & Gail had various family members visiting from out of town, including Brian's Mom & Dad to take part in this momentous occasion.  During this wonderful time in his family's life, Brian was suffering from a horrible migrane headache.  He dressed up and came to both graduation ceremonies ... made sure to be a part of both his daughter's graduations and events.  He smiled in pictures as he was so proud of his girls, but still suffered from his migraine.

After the ceremonies and parties were complete, family returned home, he decided to go to the doctor.  Below is a current posting from Gail on her Facebook page . . .

"FYI...my cute, adorable husband Brian has been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. We are asking for PRAYERS, positive vibes, good karma, and juju. This week coming up we do the prep work for treatment.   June 27 he starts radiation and chemo pill for 30 treatments...5 days x 6 weeks. Please include your email address below if you want to be included on CaringBridge page. Please only leave well wishes and comments. We love and appreciate all your support. XOXOXO..."

Brian was admitted to the hospital and with proper medication, his headache is now gone.  While waiting in the hospital to get the word on having a biopsy, he was always in good spirits ... joking with family ... even at one point, he had the nurses "overhearing" he was leaving to go "clubbing".  One of the nurses seriously told him ... "You are not aloud to leave the building, Mr. Eischeid."  He had his biopsy surgery and came thru it like a  trooper!

After 4 days in the hospital, he was finally home again.  He had some wonderful nurses to care for him ... cook his meals, mow his grass, drive him around on adventures to places like Krogers and Home Depot.  Nurse Carrie & Nurse Wendy.  (Sister-in-Law and Close Family Friend)  A few days after being home, the AC started acting up.  It was toasty warm on Dutch Island for sure.  After three AC guys came to check out the system, each gave their own oppinon - from complete replacement to replacing parts only.  Nurse Wendy suggested AC guy # 3 and he fixed it!  Is it a temporary fix?  Who knows ... it works again for now.

For those of you that know Brian, he is one of the good guys.  He is an amazing Husband to his wife ... Gail married outside of her league for sure!  He is a wonderful Father to his two beautiful girls, Emilye & Elise.  He is a great Uncle to his Nieces and Nephew.  He is even a Grand Uncle ... He is a family man for sure.  He is a good friend to many people far and wide.  On Sunday morning when you want to sleep in, he is up and adam with his family - off to Sunday Mass.  Again, he is one of the good guys.

All of these things add up to one conclusion ... Brian will beat the odds ... Cancer picked the wrong guy to mess with!  Brian will kick cancer's butt!

Thank God Brian has had a wonderful job for many many years with the same company and has great medical benefits.  However, as we all know ... Medical Benefits don't always pay for everything that you need to get the job done.  They have a long road ahead of them to kick cancer's butt!

I have set up this "go fund me" page without asking Gail & Brian.  They are humble people and would never do something like this on their own.

We have already seen such a wonderful outpouring of help from friends and family ... help in and around their home after Brian's surgery ... friends dropping off prepared meals, snacks, drinks and desserts ... friends offering wonderful distractions such as a sunset cruise ... and so many more things.  Thank you to family and friends.

Thank you to anyone that can help with this "go fund me" page ... Help Brian kick cancer's butt!
