Drug Addiction Recovery Fund

This is my nephew, Erlee. He has struggled with mental illness his entire life, and since he was a teenager has been involved with drugs. His father (my brother) has tried repeatedly to help him, but until now Erlee was not willing to help himself. Now he has hit his bottom. He is homeless and living with his physically abusive girlfriend, and has been expressing suicidal thoughts. He wants to get clean and get his life in order, but he has no insurance and the out of pocket cost of a reputable treatment program is astronomical. We are humbly asking for your help in saving this sweet boy’s life. If we reach our goal, we will post updates of his progress as proof of the legitimacy of this campaign. Update 3/10: It has been brought to my attention that there is some concern regarding the allocation of funds raised. I am personally handling the money myself and dispersing it very intentionally. I will personally pay any facility we get Erlee into directly; he will not see any actual cash himself that could potentially be spent to continue using drugs.
