As a lot of you know Sarah and some of you don't but am sure you have heard about my lovely friend Sarah from me.
She has been battling with triple negative breast cancer for 3 years.
Sarah is now receiving chemo at St John of God and is also on clinical trials from the USA.
Sarah's treatment at the moment does not have a end date.
Sarah's results into cycle 7 (November 2016) are stable which is good news.
Between myself, Mark (Hubby) Nicola (Sarah's sister), Robyn & Sharon we are the chemo buddy team each week.
Sarah has lots of friends and family here in Perth who do lots of other helpful things for Sarah, Mark, Rosie & Ben as well as a great support group in U.K.
I have been thinking about doing something for them as a family for a while.
After chemo yesterday (7.11.16) and quite a confrontational chat with a few people on Sarah's oncology trial team and seeing my beautiful friend upset I decided the time is right to put my plan into place.
I would love to be able to send with everyone's help Sarah, Mark, Ben (16) & Rosie (13) on a family holiday.
They haven't had a break in three years. Sarah cannot fly and has treatment 3 weeks out of 4 in the city.
My plan is for them to go away for 10-13 days together the day after chemo on week 3, week 4 is a break and be back for week 1.
I know they love Margaret River so I will investigate places and check chemo diary but am hoping School
Holidays in January or even Easter holidays will work well.
