Youth Leadership 2017-18

Youth leaders are a select group of youth that serve the community of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Aliso Viejo through their time and talents. As servant leaders, youth leaders lead the JAMS middle school ministry by mentoring and sharing their faith with the middle school youth and co teach with our Confirmation program. Also, they support the parish in service and leadership.
The Training:
During the summer, the selected youth leaders attend a week training in the summer that teaches leadership skills, faith development, and team building. This year our youth leaders will be training at the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA.
The Cost:
The youth leadership program is soley supported by payment from the youth leader's family and donations by the community. The more we can raise the less the families need to pay into the program. The cost for our leadership week is $600 per youth. The youth leader pays $300 and we ask the community to help each leader for the remainder $300 each. This cost covers the expense of the conference tickets, meals, room, and miscellaneous expenses.
We are trying to raise the funds before the end of June 2017. Raising enough funds provides a quality leadership experience that will strengthen their Catholic faith and leadership skills.
