Lou Zaharias needs our help!

Lou's nightmare began on November 20, 1987, when his children were abducted by their mother from Mission Viejo, California. A warrant remains in effect to this day for Susan Zaharias, for felony child concealment.

Since that day, Lou has spent every waking minute - and every dollar he had - searching for his children. To date, he has invested more than $1,000,000 in the search, and was met with nothing but stonewalling by his estranged wife's family -- who aided in the abduction -- according to court documents. He has exhausted every available resource to find his children, when there are people out there who know exactly where they are. 

The past three decades have caused an exorbant amount of health issues for Lou. He has been hospitalized numerous times, and it has devastated him financially. At this time, Lou is suffering from extreme toxic levels in his system that are causing breathing problems and lung issues. He learned this week that if he does not move from the slum apartment he can barely afford, it is only a matter of months before the toxins may cause irreparable damage. Lou's doctor informed him that, if he does not find alternate housing, he is opening himself up to a seriously-increased risk of lung/respiratory diseases.

This is the first time in 25 years Lou has asked the public for charitable support; but, due to the never-ending financial drain of searching for Chris and Lisa Mae (and the resulting medical problems), he is now in dire straits.   With more than 27,000 followers supporting Lou's effort to find his children, we are asking you to find it in your hearts to donate even $1, if possible. While his advocate team would like to see these much-needed funds go solely towards getting Lou into a healthier living environment, he insists on dedicating a portion of anything received to re-establishing a reward fund to find his missing Christopher and Lisa Mae. This is a man who remains dedicated to one goal:  finding his children - even if it means putting his personal health and well-being in jeopardy, for the sake of their return home.
