Caring for the Chins
Donation protected
For years, Peter and Carol have courageously shared their family’s journey during Carol’s fight against triple negative breast cancer. Many of us have been blessed by their tenacious faith in very difficult circumstances.
Carol’s cancer had been in remission for nearly six years, but in early April, a CT/PET scan revealed that her cancer had recurred, this time in a single lymph node in her chest. Carol will begin an intense round of proton radiation therapy in mid-June. In July, her team of doctors will decide what the next stage of treatment will entail.
Carol's family and friends have organized this fundraiser to help support the Chin family during this difficult season. Donations will go directly to the Chins to cover their out-of-pocket medical insurance expenses, including an experimental testing procedure that insurance will not cover. Funds will also allow Peter to take additional time off from work to take care of Carol and their five children.
Please consider how you can support the Chin family as they fight cancer yet again.
