NEW JERSEY’S U-14 BLOOMFIELD CHEETAH THUNDER
US Youth Soccer Region 1 Champions
Next Stop… Oklahoma
Winner of one of the four regional tournaments, we advance to the National Championship!
Competing against other State Championship teams from 15 US northeastern States the Cheetahs won this regional tournament, representing New Jersey as the U-14 Boys State Champions. A remarkable achievement given BSC is a small town program competing against highly advanced and well-funded academy teams.
Playing together since they were six years old, the bonds of friendship and brotherhood have helped these boys persevere during difficult times. Discipline, personal responsibility, working together for a common cause, and open communications are attributes that has fueled their success, and will forever help shape their character long after this quest has ended.
To play at this level, the typical Academy cost is two to three thousand dollars a year. We charge a modest fraction of that fee, with some of the family’s struggling to even meet that obligation. We have relied on donations, fundraising, and benefactors to offset the cost for those that could otherwise not afford to participate.
With this big championship win, we have earned the right to play in the Final Four of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Championship!
This National Tournament will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 14 – 17th. This opportunity is a dream come true for any kid working hard to be the best.
We need your help to make this dream a reality. We are asking for your financial support as we seek to raise $15,000 for the team to travel and attend this 4 day event. Any support provided goes directly into this championship quest, and would be greatly appreciated and appropriately acknowledged.
