United State of Women Trip in DC

I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to join The White House in their first annual (FIRST!) United State of Women conference from June 13-June15 with the American Association of University Women. While this is a great opportunity and one that has come just after my completion of my undergraduate degree-It comes with a price($). As many of you may know, DC is expensive. So expensive that many of the hotels are $300/a night! (yes, you read that right!). Luckily for me, I have grown up in the age of both prosperity for women and technology, so I will be using Airbnb to live with a local host (phew!) Well, chances are, you who are reading this has helped me get to where I am today somehow already. Be it a word of encouragement or maybe even in a way that you have yet to know. Now, I need your help to reach another milestone. My full potential is about to launch (LITERALLY I am going to NASA during this program!), so now I just need a bit of help getting off the ground. 

Here is the break down of what I need:


Housing: AirBnB: $300 for 3 nights (YES, the price of 1 night in a fancy smancy hotel near The White House!)

$100- Boarding for Sassy Girl my dog (or if you would love to open your home to her while I am away, that would be amazing)

$100 Travel Associated Costs (Taxis, Gas Money to friends taking me to airport, and Food)

$500 REACH GOAL: Extra money to go towards household costs because of postponement of work because of trip.
