27 years living with MS

Debbie has been being treated for Multiple Sclerosis for 27 years. This is a disabling disease of the central nervous system. Unfortunately things are starting to get unbearable. She's been having problems transferring from her wheel chair. She just don't have the strength in her arms to pull herself up out of her wheel chair. She also is having problems now with her legs. Just can't seem to find the strength she needs to lift herself at all. She is going to need her bathroom renovated, it needs to be a walk in shower with a seat, She will need rails also installed for her saftey. Also a wall needs to be removed, so that she has plenty enough room to be able to use lift assist equipment to help with her transferring. This equipment is expensive, and it very much so needed.
Some days it just won't let up for her. She won't let you see the frustration, She keeps it to herself very well. Many of the people on my friends list know her very well. She has donated her spare time to our local volunteer fire department. She has been a volunteer for many years, helping with dinners to raise money for our firemen. Her slogan, Help us Help them. Now it's time for all of us to help her. Life has been hard enough just for her to get up and around for her day to begin. But for it to begin, being stuck in the wheel chair and not able to lift herself just has taken its toll. Not being able to go to the bathroom, or take a shower, or even transferring in the vehicle. My new solan, Help Us Help Her. She so deserves our help. She needs it. Every little bit helps, so let's all show Debbie how much we care. May God Bless you all, and please Share, Share, Share !!!!!
