Dave O'Grady's Fight Continues
Donation protected
Dave O’Grady is nothing but a fighter. The 41 year old father of 10 year old twin boys and wonderful husband to Toni is a generous, kind-hearted, funny man who will keep you laughing until your sides ache. He is his son’s baseball coach, football coach and works two jobs. He is a work horse. My uncle is my role-model. He has endured so much in his 41 years. He fought and beat Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. While undergoing treatment for the Hodgkin’s, his radiation exposure caused him to develop Leukemia. He also beat this by undergoing a bone-marrow transplant. He has undergone many painful procedures, chemotherapy, radiation, and things that a good person should never have to go through. This was all before the age of 30. Although the radiation has helped one problem, it was too much for his body to handle and it has caused him to need both his shoulders and hip replaced. But this has never stopped him or broken his spirit. He has always worked hard to support his family and would drop everything to help others. Now he is in need of our help. Friday, April 29th, my uncle had a heart attack. He is in need of a quadruple bypass, which is due to a number of factors, including the exposure to the radiation, which has damaged the arteries surrounding his heart. He is the sole bread winner for his family and he will be out of work for four months. This will be a tremendous hardship on his family. We are asking for donations to help pay his medical expenses and monetary support for his family until he is healthy enough to go back to work. I’m asking for all of those who know and love Dave to please help out. Anything will be much appreciated. Hopefully after this, he will never have to experience another medical trauma again. Thank you from the bottom of mine and my family's hearts.
