Hap's Medical & Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
For those who have ever known John "Hap" McGivern, they know that he's a fun-loving, happy guy who makes friends wherever he goes. He is currently in hospice care and has a short time left to live.
Hap's health suffered a big blow 10 years ago when he was diagnosed with throat cancer.  He endured surgery, radiation & chemotherapy to fight the disease.  His cancer went into remission, but the radiation left its mark on Hap by deteriorating the right side of his head.
Four years ago, a blood clot formed in the artery near his brain due to the scarring and he suffered a stroke while landscaping.  The stroke left him permanently blind in his right eye and paralyzed the left side of his body.  He went through months of physical therapy to regain some strength on his left side, but could never fully recuperate.  Unfortunately, he was unable to work and could not successfully get Social Security to approve his request for assistance.
In April 2016, a new tumor formed in Hap's mouth which left him unable to eat due to excruciating pain.  His body became frail due to malnutrition, so he had a peg inserted in his stomach for liquid nutrition.  The last 3 months have been full of hospital & rehab stays due to 2 bouts of pneumonia.
Two days ago, the doctors determined that there was nothing more that could be done because his body could no longer fight the pneumonia nor tolerate any type of cancer treatment.   His nutrition and hydration lines were removed and he was transferred to hospice.
Over the last 4 years, Hap & Debbie have had to use up their entire life savings just to keep the bills paid.  He did not have life insurance, either.  They have no way to pay the medical bills that they've incurred over the last few months, nor do they have money saved for funeral expenses.
Debbie is not the type of person to ask for help, but this isn't something  she can handle by herself.  Anything that you could donate to help her in this time of need would be hugely appreciated.
