Mid-Hudson Bloodhound Refuge is a small 501c3 organization in Dutchess County NY.
We just saved a beautiful 6 year old purebred Bloodhound from a shelter in NC. Her owner brought her in because they were moving and couldn't bring her along. She has 4 large mammary tumors, 2 of which have already ruptured! As if that wasn't bad enough, she also tested positive for heartworm. She's safe now but now we need to get her healthy so she can find a forever home!
