Breanna's World Team Fund

My name is Breanna Douglas. I am a Paola High School Student Athlete. I began wrestling at the age of 5 and got my start in Paola Kids Wrestling Club. I love the sport of wrestling and hope to one day be coaching a team and share the love of wrestling with other adults and children. I also dream of being lucky enough to be an Olympic medalist. I have earned All American 10 times at the national level. I am a Kansas and Missouri State Champion for Women's Division, as well as placing at multiple local tournaments throughout the years. This year I earned a Triple Crown Championship , placing 1st in all 3 styles of wrestling. I went on to wrestle Womens Body Bar Nationals May of this year. I placed 2nd in my division earning my way on to the U.S. World Team.

I am requesting donations due to the cost involved with the training and travel required to earn and maintain my place on the U.S. World Team. I will be attending numerous camps all over the nation to continue to improve my skill level and ability. Wrestling takes a lot of hard work and dedication and I will continue to put in all my effort and time into my training. I will be required to fly often to other states and even a few countries as well. The camps and travel add up quickly. In the next several months I will be traveling to Georgia, Peru, North Dakota, and California just to name a few places.

I am currently preparing to wrestle the Pan-American Championships taking place in July 2016. I have my first camp begining June 20th and then traveling to Lima, Peru. The camps and tours will add up to and cost several thousands of dollars or more. This is just the begining of my journey. Please consider helping me and my family with the cost.
