Help Homeless couple in Evansville

Some of you may have heard about our friends Will and Sherry who have been homeless for a number of years. We first met Will and Sherry and their dog "Bear" in January of 2016 and have been doing as much as we can to help them. My husband Tom makes sure to check on them several times a week, bringing them food and clothing, taking them to do laundry..... some of those basic things that many of us take for granted.
Tom and I are trying to get them into a low income apartment so they will no longer have to live on the streets. The money we raise will be used to pay for utility deposits, the security deposit and first months rent, a new bed and some other household items. We have been notified that they are only 30 days away from getting into an apartment!
This of course would be such a great and wonderful thing to help these folks get back on their feet. Will is a very sweet and soft spoken guy and Sherry is shy and often worried about life in general. And little Bear is along for the ride and seems happy just to be with them both.
