A great education should not be determined by race, culture, socioeconomic status or geographic area. With your support, MSE has the opportunity to fight cycles of poverty in Englewood through education. Show these young people how much you believe in them by supporting them today
The Montessori School of Englewood is proud to announce that we will be moving into our own facility in the upcoming 2016-17 school year! After years of growth and successfully seeing the matriculation of young people throughout the Englewood area, we now have a place to call home.
However, we are faced with an unprecedented cut to our budget. CPS has told us to expect a 23% cut accross the board. This is indeed heartbreaking. We have successfully become a model school for Montessori in the Public Sector. However, these budget cuts will force us to loose vital personnel and programming.
We are truly excited about the possibilities that exist in our new home but need you to give a little more. Combined, MSE serves nearly 1,000 youth, parents, and community members. We are asking everyone who has been inspired by MSE’s work to give a gift to The Montessori School of Englewood. If you cannot afford to give at this time, then please get your friends, family, and co workers to donate; or help spread the word about our work on social media by sharing our Facebook and emails with your social networks.
