Refugees Need Gently Used Van

Tax deductible
Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio serves people of all faiths. Since the Vietnam War, we've resettled more than 10,000 refugees in Cincinnati. They fled violence and persecution and now these refugees contribute to the vibrancy and economic growth of our community .

Help us welcome another 300 refugees this year with the purchase of a gently used passenger van that will allow us to greet large families at the airport and transport them safely to their new homes. The van is critical in making sure new arrivals are transported to health checks and other important appointments during their first 30 days here. We have 50 appointments per week.

World Refugee Day is June 20. We hope to secure enough money by then to purchase a van as refugees are arriving every week from Asia and the Congo region of Africa.

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me." (Matthew 25:35)

Please join us in welcoming new arrivals. Your gift will go a long way and will be greatly appreciated.

In peace,

Kelly Anchrum,
