Hey everyone, many of you may know my big sister Brandy and her husband Danny. They just won a military wedding contest! They will be traveling from Seattle, WA to Chattanooga, TN this July!
My sister is a veteran of the United States Navy, and Danny is currently 19 months out from Naval retirement. They're both lovingly parenting five children, Cali and Caleb, their own, and since the tragic death of my sister in law, my brother's children Eliza, Addie, and Sophie have been welcomed into their home and life.
If any person deserves a day of beauty dedicated exclusively to celebrating love, it's my sister and her husband.
To any of you who've organized a wedding, this is not a cheap endeavor! Many of you have expressed interest in helping out, and this is a way to do it. Donations will go to fund travel expenses, wedding clothing for those beautiful babies!
My sister is the person who's there for you whether you deserve it or not. If you are in need, she'll take care of you first. Regardless of how much is going on in her day, and in spite of what needs of her own she may have. Her motherly love extends well beyond the walls of her home; it spills out to everyone she touches. She will always do what she can to take care of others first.
After fourteen years of marriage, and running at a pace I can't even comprehend, she deserves a day to slow down and celebrate with her friends and family. The kids deserve to see their mother and aunt celebrate the love she shares with her husband in a beautiful fashion. Afterall, they benefit from that love every single day.
I'm not currently certain of the specific date of the wedding, but my family will be here July 1 - 5th, so donations will need to be made in advance of this date.
Please believe me when I say, my family knows the value of a dollar. And we can't thank you enough for helping to make this happen.
