2016 VHS Speech/Debate Nationals

The Valparaiso Speech, Debate, and Mock Trial Team has won the opportunity to send ten students to compete at the National Speech and Debate Tournament held in Salt Lake City in June 2016. Due to the cost of the trip only six of our students are able to attend the tournament. It is truly unfortunate that travel costs have increased to the point that students who have worked no less than eight months to compete with the nation's best speakers are not able to attend. Thus we are turning to our community of colleagues, friends, and family for assistance.
     We'd like to share for what the money is targeted. We have seven hotel rooms for seven days, $15 per day (that's not much, but we can do it!) food allowance, and one rental vehicle to travel to the competition venues. The flight arrangements have already been paid by the family of the attendees. 
    Our goal seems daunting yet if you could help with a donation that is comfortable for you, together, we can reach our destination - literally.
