A Heavenly send off for Shiawna

On Wednesday, February 15th, our sweet friend Shiawna Thompson went to be with The Lord after a short battle with the flu and pneumonia. Shiawna was born with a severe disability and was placed into the foster care system. At the age of 18months she was placed with the Mckie family where she lived until her final days. Shiawna faced many struggles in life, but her will to survive set her apart from most. Her smile was contagious and the little sounds she would make would melt your heart. Today her family is mourning the loss of one of their own and need a little help with funeral expenses. As one of her prior teachers and family friend, I have started this gofundme campaign in order to help the family. 100% of the money collected will go towards her funeral expenses.
