Federal Employee working without pay!

Hi, I'm the wife of a devoted husband, amazing father of two kids (6 & 2) and a federal officer in Ft. Lauderdale FL.  I'm writing this for him because he's not the type to say this about himself or to ask. Due to the government shutdown, we've been getting by thus far. We've been "faithing it" (remaining faithful) that the shutdown will end soon. Nonetheless, our reality is that some bills are now past due and our fear is that not knowing how much longer the shutdown will last, we will not be able to provide for our family.
