Northern Rivers Drag Racing Association is a not for profit organization that runs a Community Drag Racing event in our small rural town of Casino Northern NSW.
With the approval of Richmond Valley Council & ANDRA we hold 4 events per year at our local Casino Air strip. With a dedicated small committee & some loyal volunteers we provide a supervised, safe & legal drag racing event to ensure that our local youth, young families & motor enthusiasts come together being educated in a controlled enviroment reducing the incidence of illegal & uncontrolled racing in our area.
We are currently looking for funding to purchase a new set of timing lights that will deliver a professional event with more options in racing and will draw more people & car clubs from other states helping the local area's economy & the youths social benefits. Being a small rural town money is hard to come by & the youth have minimal community run events. This funding project would mean alot to our local youth, young families and general community memebers giving them a venue that not only provides disciplined racing but a great safe family day out in the community.
