Bill Phillips Memorial Fund

In 2010, my family and I went through an unspeakable tragedy when we lost our father in a plane crash in the bush of Alaska. Since his death in 2010, we've sought to honor his legacy by collecting funds that benefit my dad's two passions: our wounded military veterans and youth sports.

I'm raising money as part of the Bill Phillips Memorial Fund's involvement in two endeavours:

1. Its traditional random acts of service to our veterans (more on those stories here ).

2. Patriot Point, a project of the DC Bowl Committee and one whose mission we strongly support. Have a look at http://www.patriotpoint.org to learn more about the work they're doing. It's an incredibly ambitious project, and as we're getting off the ground, your support means a tremendous amount to the long-term ambitions of the project. 

My father was known for his random acts of kindness and for his compassion for those who have served our country. Our family is extremely grateful for your support as we help to do our little part in recognizing the people who have given us so much.
