I am Belinda McCauley widow of Jerome P McCauley, Jr. He was a true American hero. He was a Navy SEAL who lost his life defending our country in Iraq Jan. 31 2008.
My life, and the lives of my family and friends were changed forever on that day; as one could imagine. Our son, Romie who is 27 years old, has not been able to deal with the loss of his father in a healthy way. He turned to drugs and alchohol and is still suffering this horrible addiction.
As his mother, it is heart breaking to see our son slowly killing himself. He needs a residential treatment program that will help him get off of drugs, become healthy (mentally and physically)and give him the life he is worthy of.
God has blessed me with a wonderful progam for Romie in Florida that is a perfect match for him. Your contributions would be used to pay for his 90 day stay, his transportion from California to Florida (himself and an escort) and the essentials he needs to bring with him.
I am blessed that this treatment facility is willing to work with me on a monthly payment plan since Romie has no insurance. And, they were able to give me a discount because of his father's sacrifice.
I know what it is like to have your whole world turned upside down in a matter of minutes. I did not only lose my husband on Jan 31 2008 but, my son as well on that day. I know I can not have my husband back with me in the physical sense but, I long to have my son back.
Therefore, I am reaching out to family, friends and Teammates of my late husband, for your donations. Rehabilatation is so very costly and I am not able to do this on my own.
