Maddie's New Wheels

Hello, my name is Madeline Collins and I was born March of 2015 with Spina Bifida, a birth defect in which a developing baby's spinal cord fails to develop properly. Due to this defect (notice not MY defect) I have little use of my lower extremities and require alternative means of motivating so I can play with my three sisters. Currently, I have had a number of procedures that have used all of my funding allocated to me be the awesome people and doctors at the Shiners Hospital of St. Louis and I'm in need of a new Zip Zac or a FireFly Scoot as mine was taken back by Columbia Hospital because I am no longer a patient there.  Summertime is here and I really would like to move around with my family outside in the grass at the park.

My name is Tammy Moreau.  Madeline and the Collins family are good friends of ours.  In a little over a year, we have seen them soldier through countless medical procedures and surgeries with Madeline.  The whole time, Maddie has kept a smile on her little face, and touched the lives of everyone she encounters.  I saw the need for the Zip Zac (or firefly) and jumped on the opportunity to try to help them out.  Madeline has been through so much, and it would mean the world to me to help put a smile on the whole family's face.  Every little bit counts.  Thank you so much.
