Moving to DC

Hello everyone. I recently completed my Masters and I'm moving to DC for the job opportunity of a lifetime! Unfortunately, I am unable to secure enough start-up funds to ensure I have housing and have had to delay my new start.
Due to a history of abuse and anti-lgbt sentiments I am no longer involved with my family. Though this has made life financially difficult it has given me the freedom to live a healthy life.
As I make the transition to the next stage in my life I have to be realistic of the start up costs which include but are not limited to: first months rent and deposit, transportation to work, food, moving expenses, and the final payment of my previous apartment.
The job I secured pays me enough to support myself however I cannot begin working until I have housing and I need start up funds to do so.
