The Black's Medical Fund

The Black family has been through an incredibly difficult year. Their daughter, Julia, fell off a boat and was struck by the propeller on June 6th, 2015; she almost lost her life. In the past year, she has endured 11 surgeries, numerous doctors visits, and physical therapy. In addtion to Julia's health struggles, Adam, her father, had to have major back surgery this year. The first surgery was not successful, so he had to endure an additional unexpected surgery. Moreoever, he recently took two trips to the ER due to severe gastroenteritis and dehydration. These ER visits alone cost $2,000. This family has been through more hardship in just one year than most people will experience in a lifetime.

Adam and Denise have sacrificed their time, energy, and resources to pour the love of Jesus into the lives of everyone around them for as long as I can remember; I, personally, have been the recipient of their generosity, compassion, and encouragement. They give so much to everyone around them, and God has given us the unique opportunity to care for them as they have cared for us. Let's take this chance to show them the love of Jesus!
