My name is Jacob Reynolds. My wife, Melanie, and I are facing the very real threat of homelessness and we need your help. The veterans affairs has screwed my over (I'm rated at 40% because of my 20 inch scar and not the pain or other disabilities! SSI won't approve my disability with out a lawyer but no one here in Wichita will take my case!
Why we need your help:
My wife was fired from her job as an insurance agent assistant because she missed 3 days of work in 5 months to drive me to the doctors I see! My grandparents have helped us tremendously over the past 2 years but they can no longer afford to continue to help us and I hate taking their very hard earned money and if we can raise enough money I'd love to pay them back! I hate asking you but we are literally about to lose our home, our dog (my emotional support dog), and our car as well as my medications shown below! Anything helps!
I have posted below what happened to me with photos. Once again my family needs help. We need you and I know you all work so hard for your money but anything helps it truly does!
As a husband I feel ashamed that I am unable to support my family financially. I would never forgive myself if she had to be in the streets begging.

My Story:
I was injured in the Marine Corps and since then I have not been able to hold a job for more than a few weeks but each time that I try to work it is followed by MONTHS of recovery and hospital visits.
The injury happened when I was 19 and it was from a fall I took in California. My vertebrae fractured and caused a 80° to 95° curve (the normal curve is about 15° to 20°). This resulted in moths of recovery time and paralysis and mulitble episodes paresthesia (lose of function and movement of my legs)
This injury changed my life and so did the surgery that resulted because of it. I had to get a spinal fusion from T2 -L4 . That is from the base of my neck all the way down to my low low back!
This causes me extreme chronic pain and spams to the point that even with the ton of medications I'm on, I am still in a lot of pain. My life now is just trying my best to deal with the pain. My wife has to help me in and out of bed and any chair or toilet. I can no longer bend and if I drop anything I have to wait until someone mainly my wife to come and pick it up for me.
