Alura's PKU Medical foods.

My youngest daughter has PKU which is a rare metabolic disorder where their bodies don't contain what it needs to break down one of the enzymes in protein. She has been on a special low protein diet since she was about 2 weeks old and will be on that diet for life. Some states insurance will cover medicall foods but unfortunately ours does not. The food cost about 5x as much as regular food you and I eat. Any little bit helps. I would just like to give her the same opportunity that every PKUer should have.
