Service Dog for Gracie

As most of you know our daughter Gracie is severely Autistic, with this condition comes challenges. For Gracie this means she is prone to wondering (number one cause of death for Autistic children under the age of 14), she is prone to self injury, and has extreme anxiety. A service dog is able to assist with those behaviors.

We found the perfect dog at the shelter, Artemis a 2  year old lab. We found a trainer who is willing to train her in under a year. Instead of the $15,000 to $20,000 a fully trained service dog typically costs we will be able to train Artemis for under $3,000. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to assist with training.
