Saving Alissa Fund

In April little six year old Alissa was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare cancer of the brain. She has had a surgery to remove the brain tumor and is now embarking on a long journey of treatment in an effort to save her life. These treatments, by necessity, must be done in Dallas / Fort Worth at specialty hospitals and clinics with programs specifically designed for children.  She will also be involved in a special clinical trial for children with this disease.

Being treated far from home presents unique challenges and strains on the family, not the least of which is financial. 

Your generous donations to this campaign will significantly relieve these financial burdens allowing a complete focus on saving Alissa and attending to her healing treatment. Alissa has two siblings, two brothers age four and seven. These funds will provide for their childcare and support as well. Being displaced from home has caused a loss of income and new expenses for the family.
