Help Freya

Meet Freya a 6 1/2-year-old, 8 pound, Pekingese who was surrendered to Barking Back Rescue when her owners were going through difficult times and could no longer care for her.  Shortly after going into foster care it was evident that poor Freya was having difficulty breathing, walking, and chewing.  After being evaluated by the amazing team at Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital (WRVH) it was determined Freya needs major surgeries.  She will need to be spayed, repair of her knee, dental work, and surgery to improve her breathing. All of this comes at a significant cost.  WRVH has offered an amazing discount, but there would still be a remaining balance of just over $3,800. Until the funds are collected Freya will not be able to receive her surgeries. Barking Back Rescue is a non-profit organization that helps thousands of dogs find their forever homes.
