Hands on STEM for Students

I'm a high school science teacher.  I want to give my students varied experiences that communicate to them the joy of inquiry, the exhilaration of discovery.

The other day, I put a toy/game in the hands of some of my least motivated, least engaged, least participating students . . . and they loved it.

They solved problems, they got discouraged, they tried a different approach, they solved a puzzle.  In short, they learned something!

Today, one week later, one student was still thinking about how to solve the puzzle that was presented to them.

I'm asking for some funds to get a kit of varied challenges in front of them.   Something from LittleBits would be perfect, e.g. http://littlebits.cc/ayah-announces-steam-student-set. 

  I need these funds within in a month, since school ends soon.  These funds will be used immediately to purchase a kit that has been widely reported on the news and internet as increasing student engagement with STEM/STEAM.
