Local artist assaulted on frenchmen

I am starting this for my grandma Barbara yochum she is 76 and has made her living as an artist on Jackson square for the past 50 years. She paints fantasy art with mostly mermaids and fairies. This morning at 8 am while getting her coffee she was assaulted by a random man running down the street who knocked her out and ran h e was caught and held down by men who saw till the police came. She has a fractured cheekbone, sinus cavity and nose, thankfully she won't need surgery. She has already had a rough year financially to some surgeries due to breast cancer and missed quite a bit of work and will be again until she heals some and isn't terrified to go back downtown.
