Hi,
My name is Christine. My sole source of income is Social Security Disability and Supplementary Security Income. Less than 800 dollars per month.
My cat, Sage, has peritonitis and needs to be put to sleep quickly. Every veterinary office I've called does not perform euthanasia without cremation because the chemicals used to put them to sleep may seep into the water table upon burial. Sounds like a bullshit, money grubbing way for the municipalities and vets to get their hands on more of your money, but hey... life is life. And death is death.
It would be nice to have an inexpensive urn for Sage, which would run approximately 50 to 70 dollars.
I have access to funds from my PayPal credit account but none of the vets I've called accept Pay Pal.
I plan to use these funds for the initial vet visit, the shot to put him to sleep, his cremation and a modest urn. I don't know if how much I'm asking is enough or if it's too much to ask.
Please help. I don't want my kitty to keep suffering. He's so weak now that he urinates on my bed. Peritonitis will eventually cause him to suffocate due to liquid in his abdominal cavity pressing against his lungs.
I guess that's all I have to say for now. It's very upsetting and I don't like having to ask for help but I don't want to have to hold him when he dies from suffocation. I've had a pet die in my arms. He was terrified and it tore up my soul.
I've moved around a lot in my life and I'm tired of burying beloved pets in places where I'll never see their burial spot again. That's why I want any urn.
