When something exquisite arises from total confusion. When you hurl yourself into the totally unknown and uncertain without plan or know – how and,
armed with only a towel, courage , and maybe a little megalomania, register for the Mongolrally –
that means you haven’t done too much wrong in your life!
OUR GOALS
*To shoot a holistic and amusing documentary!
That means to capture the complete madness on film. To show how the value-systems change from West to East, by means of 21 questions that we are going to ask everybody we come across on our breathtaking 16000 km journey to Ulan Ude(East Russia)
We are sure that a privileged white Londoner will tell us different answers than those people with whom we are going to drink yak-milk in a yurt.
With this little film we want to get people to start thinking and, combined with incomparable pictures of Nature, get them to discover what you really need in your life. You don't need a lot to be happy! And we are going to prove that! Saving the world, means saving our home planet. After reserching a lot and trying out a lot we came to the bitter conclusion, that as long as there are so many customers on this earth-it is going to be damn hard to save it. That's why we want to show the world, that less is more.
So we are raising money to invest a bit more in the equipment needed to ensure top quality film-making.
The documentary will be produced by the brilliant company called "Bilderrausch",
shown in our domestic cinemas and also be presented at several Filmfestivals.
All the donators will be credited in the film.

For all investors and companies who donate more then 500€, the companie's name will be printed on our scrap car, which is hopefully going to take us until lake Baikal!

Yes! we want to raise some money, not only for our arses and the documentary, but also for our home-planet which we so stubbornly exploit.
1000 € are for the Organization „Cool Earth“ which is dealing with the conservation of rain forests most intensely. And, let’s be honest: trees are really damn cool!
THE TASK
*16.000 km from London to Ulan Ude in a car with maximally a 1-litre-engine. We challenge ourselves to ride by scrap-metal and let the stories unfold. Otherwise nothing would happen to us and that would be amazingly boring!
*We drive through 14 countries, including Iran, Kirgistan, Usbekistan, Kasachstan, Mongolia, and Russia.
*We will see numerous mountains and cross 5 mountain ranges.
*When we will not dream thirstily of Lake Baikal or fearfully tremble because of an earthquake we will probably be busy trying to push the car out of the mud.
*We’ll sleep in a tent and hopefully afterwards all be better human beings. Because less is more, and we want to prove to us and the rest of the world: you don’t need anything to have everything.
We are thankful for every support and also willing to give something in return. Every donation from 30€ or more will receive our documentary with a booklet after we’ll have returned from our nerve-wrecking adventure. All donators will be credited in the film.

Wenn aus einer Verwirrung heraus etwas Großartiges entsteht. Wenn man sich ohne Plan und Know-How ins Ungewisse stürzt und sich, mit nichts bepackt außer einem Handtuch, Mut und ein bisschen Größenwahn für die Mongolrally registriert - dann hat man alles im Leben richtig gemacht.
Unsere Ziele:
*Eine amüsante, holistische Doku drehen.
Also den ganzen Wahnsinn filmen und mit 21 Fragen an alle Menschen, die uns auf unserer 16000 km Reise begegnen, zeigen, wie sich das Wertesystem von West nach Ost verändert. Wir sind uns sicher, dass uns ein weißer, privilegierter Mann aus England andere Dinge erzählt, als die Menschen, mit denen wir in einer Jurte Yakmilch trinken.
Wir wollen mit dem Filmchen einfach zum Nachdenken anregen und, kombiniert mit unvergleichbaren Naturbildern, dazu animieren sich bewusst zu machen, was man wirklich braucht im Leben. Denn Weniger ist mehr und das wollen wir beweisen!
Dafür benötigen wir Equipment, dafür sammeln wir Geld.
Die Doku wird in heimischen Kinos vorgeführt und bei einigen Filmfestivals eingereicht.

Alle Firmen und Investoren die 500€ oder mehr spenden: Der Name oder das Logo der Firma wird auf unser Auto gedruckt, welches uns hoffentlich sicher bis zum Baikalsee bringen wird.
*Geld für eine Umweltschutzorganisation sammeln.
JA, wir wollen nicht nur für unsere Ärsche und die Doku Geld sammeln, sondern auch für unseren lieben Heimatplaneten, den wir so stur ausbeuten. 1000 Euro gehen an die Organisation „Cool Earth“, die sich mit dem Erhalt des Regenwaldes intensivst auseinandersetzt. Und, sind wir mal ehrlich: Bäume sind verdammt cool.
Das bedeutet:
*16.000 Kilometer von London bis Ulan Ude in einem Auto fahren, das nicht mehr als einen 1l Motor besitzt. Das Auto muss Schrott sein, denn sonst passiert dir ja nichts. Das wäre ja fad.
*Wir durchqueren dabei 14 Länder. Drunter Iran, Kirgistan, Usbekistan, Kasachstan, Mongolei und Russland.
*Wir blicken auf zahlreiche Berge und überqueren 5 Gebirge.
*Wenn wir nicht gerade durstig an den Baikalsee denken oder uns ein Erdbeben vor Angst erzittern lässt, werden wir wohl versuchen das Auto aus dem Schlamm zu schieben.
*Wir schlafen im Zelt und sind danach hoffentlich alle bessere Menschen. Denn weniger ist mehr, und das wollen wir uns selbst und auch dem Rest der Welt beweisen: Man braucht nichts, um alles zu haben.
Wir sind dankbar für JEDE Unterstützung und auch gewillt etwas zurück zu geben.
