2019 Global Game Jam Nashville
Donation protected
The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is an international event from January 25-27, 2019 where registered jammers gather to collaborate and create a game based on the announced theme over the course of the weekend. Volunteers from the Nashville Game Developers organize the event with support from the venue, The Wond’ry at Vanderbilt University.
We are collecting sponsorships, donations, and in-kind support to host the event for an estimated 150 jammers in Nashville for 2019. The funds will be used for venue expenses such as housekeeping and security, providing t-shirts for registered jammers, required event insurance, food and drinks for jammers, and administrative expenses such as printouts and flyers.
Any donation of any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated. Your support will help us continue providing an event that furthers the technological and artistic skill level of the Nashville community with regards to game development. Anyone of any skill level is welcome to participate. There's bound to be something you can do to help make a game. And you don't even have to make a video game; analog games (board and card games) are welcome as well.
To register, please sign up on the following two sites:
1. Register locally on the Nash Game Dev Eventbrite Page.
2. Register for the global event at the Global Game Jam website.
