2018 HAITI MISSION TRIP

Hi! Thank you for your time and coming to check out my GoFundMe page! I am ecstatic to say that a group of us are going to Jacmel, Haiti, this June to help the Felician Sisters of Haiti with their permanent mission there. They provide meals, scholarships, and medical care for children who would normally not have the opportunity to get an education. While we are there, we will be installing playground equipment at the facility to help provide an outlet for the kids and engaging them in education. Additionally, we will be helping the nuns beautify their new facility, help cook meals, teach the kids computer skills, and playing with the kids. We are trying to raise money for the mission trip and would really love your support. The funds raised will go to the playground equipment, scholarships, educational games, and toys for the children. ($150 will pay for a child there to go to school for a year). This is not my first time going on a mission trip. This past winter break, I was privileged to go on my first mission trip to Haiti. I enjoyed it so much that I’m going back to the Felician Sisters this summer for this mission trip. Going to Haiti has forever changed my perspective of living and happiness. The culture there showed me to be grateful, humble, happy, self-sufficient and accepting of others. Going to Haiti also made me motivated to make a mark on the world and change the world for the better and not the worse. I am so ready to go back to Haiti and reflect on how blessed I am and learn from the Haitians and their way of life.
