33rd Annual Shoppers' Day Event

The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities hosts it's biggest event each year in December - Shoppers' Day.  Shoppers' Day will be December 7, 2017 at Four Seasons Mall.  We will host more than 550 shoppers with disabilities and 500 volunteers.  Volunteers come from area high schools to spend the morning accompanying a shopper in making selections and having fun.  Volunteers will not only make a new friend, but learn about disabilities and about the barriers that exist in our community.  This is reflective of our mission - To Create a Barrier Free Community.

Shoppers will receive $10 each from the Mayor's Committee (raised in this campaign) to help with their shopping or lunch.  Sponsor a shopper for only $10 and all funds raised will go to the shoppers!
