2017 Westpac Rescue Drovers Run

The 2017 Westpac Rescue Helicopter "Drover's Run" will hit the track on 29th July and return to Tamworth on the 11th August. This year the Rotary Club of Tamworth West will have two vehicles taking part. We would like everybody to be involved so we are looking forward to your support to raise the most in donations upto and during the Run. Every cent raised will go directly to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service to help continue their lifesaving patient rescue work. The last "Drover's Run" back in 2015 raised more than $130.000 for this very worthwhile cause. This year we want to go much better in the fund raising stakes and rescue the Fundraising Trophy back from the Gunnedah Trio of Masked Madmen. We will be visiting places such as Kidman's Camp, Tibooburra, Camerons Corner, Maree, Wilpena Pound, Arakoola Village, Silverton, Menindee Lakes and other place in our wonderful country. There will be fundraising nights at various locations during the trip.
