20th Anniversary "Empalme Renovation Trip"

20 YEARS ago we began changing the LIVES and SPIRIT of a Nicaraguan town once considered a junction everyone passed by. There was little hope, motivation or an understanding of how to rise above and certainly no means to get there. Now flash forward, 20 years. We brought their love of baseball back with the building of a stadium. We built schools and provided education - and we have graduated teachers, doctors, lawyers and visionaries to prove it. We built homes and created job training programs. We did it all in step with the people of Empalme de Boaco. We did the opposite of what so many organizations don’t do. We returned. We invested in them. You invested in them.
But now, 20 YEARS later, we need to build, fix and spruce things up and continue our blessed legacy and commitment. The entire town’ is excited for our January arrival. WE KINDLY NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS MILESTONE WORK TRIP A REALITY!
The foundation must raise $50,000 to fund our anniversary work.
As a THANK YOU to donors of $500 or more, you’ll be memorialized on the new outfield walls of the legendary Tinoco Field!!!
OUR JANUARY WORK:
We need supplies to accomplish these projects
· Build a Garden & Install Watering System at the Primary School
· Paint & Repair the Electrical System of the High School
· Replace Zinc Roof, White Boards & Chalk Boards at Remote School
· Stucco and Paint the Outfield Stadium Wall
· Re-stucco and paint the Stadium walls
· And of course, all those “other to-do’s” that pop up while there
