Ryan Fischer Lymphoma Fund
Those of you who already follow 220b may have already heard the sad news that Ryan Fischer, founder and producer for Praise-Apella and now 220b was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Anyone who knows Ryan knows his heart for ministry, people and most of all his love for God. Ryan and his wife Shawnda are asking you to please pray for him and his family as they walk down this road.
Ryan has said that his purpose was to be a light in this dark world and to let people know that there is a God, He is real and He loves you.
Galatians 6:2 instructs us to "Help carry each other's burdens. In this way you will follow Christ's teachings." (GWT) There are two ways you can help Ryan and his family. Image of God Ministries and 220b have setup a way to give on their websites via Go Fund Me. For every donation of $10 or more receive a free CD. All you have to do is sign up at this link where you will see a Ryan Fischer fund set up.
Please continue to pray for their physical, material and emotional needs to be met and for God's healing.
Reflecting back on the past year being in and out of the hospital for days and weeks at a time, multiple surgeries and many sleepless nights, we have learned that life is precious and we should live each day as if it were our last.
No one wants to have cancer or go through chemo, but we feel blessed that Ryan had the opportunity to fight. It is a blessing that so many do not get the chance to have.
We are thankful for the doctors and nurses for the love compassion and care they provided. We are thankful for family and friends who not only lent their ear but their hands and hearts. We are thankful to God for his grace and the opportunity to share our faith through this illness.
There are still more tests and scans to go but the doctor's believe we are headed in the right direction. Please continue to keep Ryan in your prayers as he still has a few medical challenges to overcome.
Ryan completed his 3rd round of chemo and will have his 4th treatment next week. He has a little less hair than before but a lot of fight left in him.
Ryan wants to thank everyone for their kindness. He appreciates the encouragement he has received from your calls, cards, emails and most importantly your prayers.
Hey Ryan, Had no idea of what was going on. I was listening to some of Praise-apella's music remembering the good old days. :-) My prayers and thoughts are definitely with you. As I'm sure you already know, our GOD is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all we can ask or think!!
Ryan - You are in my prayers for a complete healing. Miss you at Bay Pres.
