CANCER SUCKS! Help J.J. recover

On November 07, 2019, Jacen Sr and Elizabeth received the news every parent dreads that their only child, our J.J. has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer that attacks the muscle! J.J's tumor is behind one eye and in his sinus cavity, making removal impossible. J.J. is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, on a ventilator, in a medically induced coma. His one eye is taped shut because it is bulging. J.J. does not look like our J.J. November 8, 2019 J.J. received his 1rst chemo treatment. November 13, 2019 we are told J.J. will need to have a trachea put in because there is a lot of liquid surrounding his neck, he will not be woken up as we had hoped. The chemo seems to be doing its job. Before this monster of a Cancer attacked J.J. was a very rambunctious, happy toddler, who enjoys running around, dancing,( boy does he love to dance) and swimming. This nightmare all started with what we thought to be strep throat, we were totally blindsided. His mother, Elizabeth, Lizzie, is the most humble, loving, giving human being one could ever hope to encounter. Unfortunately Lizzie has lost both her parents within the last 5 years, neither one ever able to meet J.J. She has a brother who works 2 jobs just to make ends meet. Lizzie herself is on a fixed monthly income. It has been rough for this little family to say the least. Lizzie spends all her days and nights at her son's beside. She is his biggest cheerleader, and will not leave him. One can only imagine her tormented thoughts of whether or not her only child will survive. We ask that you please pray for Lizzie as she pours all her love, heart and soul into J.J. We're asking that you help ensure our little soldier receives the best treatment possible and give him the best chance at a bright future. Let's alleviate any financial burden ensued by this tragic, unexpected event. At such a critical time noone should have to bare the financial burden of any medical bills, 2nd opinions, food, transportation, housing, or ongoing care and support. Please respect the need for time to process J.J.'s diagnosis and prognosis as well as the strong desire not to have to explain over and over J.J's condition.
